What a deep clean does that a standard clean does not

A standard visit keeps a house level. A deep clean resets it.

The difference is the places that do not get dirty in two weeks but do get dirty in two years. Baseboards and trim. The tops of door frames and the ceiling fan blades. Light fixtures with a season of dust in them. Grout that has gone grey. The inside of the oven and the inside of the fridge. The gunk where the stovetop meets the counter.

It also means moving things rather than cleaning around them. Under and behind the furniture that never moves. The floor beside the toilet, not just the open floor. Inside the cabinets if you want that too.

When people book one

Four times, mostly.

As a first visit. If the house has not had real help in a while, starting with a deep clean means the regular visits after it are quick. We suggest it often, and then people move onto a recurring schedule.

Before people come. Holidays, a new baby, family staying for a week, a party. Something about knowing other people will see the house makes you notice the baseboards.

Spring. The windows have been shut since October and you can feel it. Spring cleaning is a real thing and it is our busiest stretch.

After something. An illness in the house, a long stretch of nobody having time, a renovation that left dust everywhere. That last one is often really post-construction cleanup, which is a different job again.

How long it takes and what it costs

Longer than you think and worth it. A deep clean is usually most of a day, sometimes a full one, and often more than one person. The price reflects the hours, not a flat rate off a website.

That is why we come and look first. Two houses the same size can be a three hour difference apart depending on what is in them and how long it has been. The walkthrough is free and the number we give you is the number.

Keeping it that way

The honest thing about a deep clean is that it is a starting point, not a permanent state. A house with people in it goes back to being a house with people in it.

Most customers who book one end up on a schedule afterwards, because keeping the house at that level is far less work than getting it there twice a year. Every two weeks is the usual landing spot.

If you would rather just book a deep clean once and see how you feel, that is completely fine. There is no contract and nobody will chase you.
