Privacy policy

Effective September 8, 2026

The short version: this site does not ask you for anything. The only place you give us information is the booking calendar, which Calendly runs for us, and the only information we want is what we need to come out, look at your place, and give you a price. We use Google Analytics to count visits, we do not use advertising trackers or tracking pixels, and we do not sell personal information.

What we collect and where it comes from

Information you give us

When you book a free estimate through the calendar in the "Free estimate" section, you may enter your name, email address, phone number, the address or town of the home or business, notes about what you need, and a preferred date and time. The calendar is provided by Calendly, which stores that information for us so we can schedule your visit. When you call, email, or text us, we keep what you tell us so we can serve you.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs for security and to keep the site running: your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, the pages you look at, and general device information. Your IP address is anonymised before it is stored. Analytics runs from the moment you arrive, and a notice tells you so on your first visit. You can turn it off at any time on the cookie policy page, which stops any further data being sent and clears the cookies it set. We do not use advertising trackers or retargeting pixels. The booking calendar provider may collect device and usage information and may use cookies inside the calendar under its own policy; see our cookie policy.

Information we do not collect

There are no accounts, no passwords, and no payment details on this site. Payment for cleaning is arranged with you directly after the visit, by cash, card, Zelle, or Venmo, never through this website.

How we use it

To contact you about your estimate and schedule the visit.
To give you a price and, if you hire us, to do the cleaning and keep in touch about your visits.
To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and answers to your questions by phone, email, or text message if you chose texts when booking.
To keep the site secure and working.
To meet legal and record-keeping obligations, such as invoices.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and choose text reminders when booking, or you text us first, we may text you appointment confirmations, reminders, and replies to your questions. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts and HELP for help. Your mobile number and your text-message consent are not shared with or sold to third parties for their marketing.

Service providers that work for us: Hostinger (website hosting and server logs) and Calendly (booking, scheduling, confirmations, and reminders). They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Our cleaning team, who need your address and your notes to do the work.
Google, for website analytics, unless you have turned analytics off.
When the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid legal request or to protect someone's safety.
If the business is sold or merged, your information may transfer with it under this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no cookies of its own. It stores one small entry in your browser (called "pc-consent") to remember that you closed the privacy notice; it holds no personal data and never leaves your device. The booking calendar may set its own cookies when it loads. Full details are in the cookie policy.

How long we keep it

We keep booking, estimate, and customer information for as long as we serve you and as long as we need it for proper business records, including any period the law requires for invoices and tax records, and then delete or anonymize it. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited time and then discarded.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we may need to keep records we are required to keep). You can stop texts by replying STOP and stop emails by telling us. Send any request to puracleannj@gmail.com or call (908) 532-3119, and we will respond within 45 days.

New Jersey residents may have rights under the New Jersey Data Privacy Act to confirm whether a business processes their personal data, to access, correct, and delete it, to get a copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and certain profiling. We do none of those three things. Whether or not the law's thresholds apply to a business of our size, we honor these requests by email. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws can make the same requests the same way. Because we do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising, browser signals such as Global Privacy Control have nothing to opt out of on this site.

Children

This site is for adults arranging cleaning for a home or business and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, holds no accounts or payment details, and loads no third-party code except the booking calendar, and only when you scroll to it. Our service providers keep their own safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Third-party services and links

The booking calendar is run by Calendly under its privacy notice. Calendly loads Google reCAPTCHA inside the calendar to block automated bookings, so opening the calendar also contacts Google under its privacy policy. Unless you have turned it off, Google Analytics runs under Google's privacy policy. Our host, Hostinger, operates under its privacy policy. Links to our Google, Yelp, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages lead to those companies' sites, which follow their own policies. We are not responsible for the practices of other websites.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
